:D So we were talking about this at the last meeting and I'm taking next week off...so I'm thinking since I have a 52" tv, we could do it at my place. I live in Federal Way though, so I don't know if people would be willing to come...so I'm just "thowing it out there", let me know who's interested. We could have like a little mini meeting. I've been working on the logo and its coming along great and at this rate I'll probly be done by the end of the weekend. I'd post it but the files kinda big so its takin me a while.

I'm in! But this saturday (tomorrow) is kind of bad for me. :_|
Any other day is fine with me. I'll bring lightsabers and the beginning of the magnets.
I'd totally be up for driving your way.
Mike do you think you could make a mini logo that would fit on a 1x1" square? I know you have a lot to do already. I was trying to make some stuff for the magnets. But you've seen what my computer artistic skills are like. :p

Friday nights would also work. If we postpone until after August 8th, school will be out and I can do Tuesday and Thursday nights too. Whatever the masses want to do (and whatever Mike can work with too. ;) :p )

Hey!! Instead of putting out cartoon pics on the front of the t-shirt, should we use that? It would look seriously good with the back logo art if it has the same sort of X-Wings. :D

My 2 cents, of course, but I am really liking it. :D

PS. I like the top one best. :D

I like that idea...as soon as i get done with the large logo we can set up the tshirt layout, post it, and vote on it...

also, definatly need feedback on "campy 70's sci-fi movie night"...just thought about it but thats alot of adverbs...i.e. what time, day, movies, food & beverage preferences....and i'll take care of the rest!!!VERY EXCITING!!![face_dancing]

Guys, I think you did a real nice job on the logo -- I like the top one best! The arrangement is a little better. I'd be proud to sport that around town :) Who do I gotta see to get me one? Yvette?

As for my campy 70's Sci-fi, my vote is definitely "Death Race 2000", with "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" as a close second. Actually, if you can even find it, I think the absolute worst of the bunch is an obscure one I saw decades ago called "Battle Beyond the Stars". Enjoy!

Hmmm... I take that back -- it appears that "Battle Beyond The Stars" is actually a minor cult hit:

I do remember seeing it waaay back when as a kid and remembering even then that it was awful. Maybe it's due for a rewatch :)

Ok, other ones that come to mind are (not all are 70's, but all are definitely cheesy!):

Yor, Hunter From the Future http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084935/
    Knights http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107333/
    I Come In Peace http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099817/
    Hercules http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085672/
    Cyborg http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097138/
    Ator, The Invincible http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086972/
Track of the Moon Beast http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075343/
Jason of Star Command http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078631/ (not a movie, not 70's -- definitely cheesy)

    Any more ... ? :)

Thanks so much for that design! It is great. I like the first one the best too. I'm now going to try and see if I can get that on a magnet!
I'll try to bring that and candy next weekend. Any requests?
Yeah for campy movies! Battle Beyond the Stars definitely sounds good. Did we still want to try for Logan's Run?

    Logan's Run is awesome!

Another suggestion: Time Runner starring.... Mark Hamil! Horrid movie, gotta watch it.

I work Friday, so have loads of fun! :)
