What are some of your favourite 'Modern' classical music?

I am listening to Gorecki's 3rd Symphony, which is one of the most beautiful and enchanting pieces I've ever heard.

Other 20th century composers I appreciate are Copland, Shostakovich, Stravinsky and Mahler.

Does anyone else have favourites, or is a fan of this music?

Gustav Holst is one of my favorite composers of all time, but I think this is probably better suited for the Classical Music Discussion thread. :)
