So CO Da Misteress' Ugh Thread

Ughhhh...my cat is getting old and being a real pain in the explicative- I'm suffering from extreme guilt at being angry with her because she's so old and probably won't be here very long, I hope, (see there I go again with those comments that give me a guilt trip!) I'll miss her when she's gone but I'm having a really hard time dealing with her right now.

 

I'll refrain from commenting...because everyone knows what I'd say about cats...

 

I hate homework.

 

I am tired of feeling like crap. Going to see my doctor today. Incision is hot, red, lumpy and very painful. Not infected, but something is going on.

 

Hm. Hot wound = not good.

7 hours and 240 lines of code later (not counting the 100+ lines deleted)...

I can finally go to bed. Ugh.

 

Pretty sure I am getting a cold. Ugh. Came on me fast. Was up at three with the girl and felt okay. Woke up at six with a killer stuffy headache and a tender throat. She's all boogery too. Eeeek

 

Nose sucker time....

Make sure you rinse it out every so often...

 

I have been cleaning it out every time I use it...the thought of boogers building up in there makes me shudder.



She doesnt seem to feel too bad, no crying or fussing. She's sleeping more, but thats good for me. I am exhausted.

 

I hope you both feel better soon! When Lindsey was 3 weeks old we got the stomach flu- it was horrible!!!

I am so bummed that I missed the meeting last weekend...stupid house self-destructing...I hate plumbing!

UGH! This house needs a good cleaning. Ugh.

they also have beady eyes...you ever notice their beady little eyes? their souls are dead inside, you see. The dead soul commonly reflects no light leaving a "beady" flat affect to ze eye.

 

Had an interview after work today. It went well, but I'm still trying to figure out why they wanted to interview me, because really, I had hardly anything they wanted.

And after my first day as a contractor, all I can say is...

Salaried employees hate contractors. We make more money, work much less, and the salaried folks never once miss a chance to remind you that you're expendable.

I gotta find a new job. LOL.

Urgh.

 

I just did an hour long workout and was REALLY looking forward to a long hot shower...and we have no water!!! I called Betty (the town hall lady) and we won't have water all day! This stinks! (literally!)

 

No water again today!!! Ok, this is one problem with small towns... they have their "maintenance crew" fix any problems which really means that it becomes a total fubar!

I want to brush my teeth!!!!

 

UGH, preschoolers and crafts. Makes me tired! Especially when they are given puffy paint and there aren't enough adults to watch them all-all the time...

 

Ten minutes ago I was fine. Now I am not.

and today has been a day that i get to use all the angry words.

 

From now on Mondays shall be known as "Beautiful Angry Words" Day.


My monday wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. Guess thats a plus.

 

Finally! I finally have internet access again. CenturyTel our pathetic little phone company somehow "missplaced" our account on their "map". And it took them 4 days to find it! Actually it only took them about 5 minutes to find it after they started looking but it took them 4 days to look!

Anyway, here is my belated UGH. This goes back to Father's Day but still hurts today. We played softball with our church that night. You have to know that I have always hated playing softball and I am really terrible at it. But I love my D_N_T, so off I go. Actually, I did alot better than I thought I would and never struck out, but there came an inning where I was up to bat and D_N_T was pitching (we were on opposite teams). I told him it had better be a good pitch or I would make him suffer for the rest of his life and he gave me his cute little smile and pitched the ball....and hit me right smack in the shin. I have a huge bruise still. So there is my Ugh story. But I actully did have fun playing for the first time in my life.

Oh, and I forgave him, ......eventually.
