Darth Vader's World Tour!!

Hey all,
A member of our chapter,Pellaeon69187,has come up with a really cool idea.

What is this idea you may ask?

Well,we wanna send a 12" Darth Vader action figure( yes action figure ,not a doll )to each chapter of FanForce,and have each group take their pic with the Dark Lord,standing by some kind of landmark or something that usually makes people think of your town or area.

The way it would work would be,We'll take a pic with Vader,send him off to the next city on the list,probably NYC.They take their pic with him,then send him off to the next city/town on the list,etc,etc,etc.

In the package along with Vader,we will include a couple of disposable cameras and a mailing list of who to send it to next.We may also include an envolope so people can donate a buck or two to help get him overseas.(thanks to Dark_Jedi_Kam for the idea)


If you would like to get involved in this,please have your CR PM me with a mailing address.We already have a few address's,but we dont wanna leave anyone out of this.

Hopefully this will be alot of fun for us all,while we wait for the next movie to come out!!

Cool, you guys are so organized!

I think each city rep should exchange phone numbers with the people above and below them. That way, we can call each other ahead of time as a sort of warning that Vader's coming to town.

There will probably be a couple more chapters in the UK when he arrives so even more touring I'm affraid!

As for the phone number idea,I'll leave that up to the CR's.But, as soon as he's mailed I'll post it here.Each FF will get him for a week.And it would be cool that they post here when they got him and when he was sent to the next chapter.That way you get an idea of when he'll arrive.

When does the tour kick off??

We were originally planning for halloween,but with the Imax thing,we may do another pic at the Premiere.I'll keep you all posted.

Thats great!The way we figured it,by the time he's done here in North America it will be just under a year,give or take a month or two.So you still have time to get official,Good Luck!

That's just the map for the North American tour. Europe/Australia will get a different map, of course.

 

Well im gonna talk to the guys here in Portugal. It would be so cool to take a picture with the darklord on one of our landmarks!

It will eventually be sent around Europe but is going around North America first, perhaps PM TK on it to get more details

Ladies and Gentlemen,Lord Vader has left the building!!

The shuttle has left and is on its way to SWNYC!!


Inside the box,along with Vader and the cameras, you will find a folder.Inside this folder is the list of chapters in the order of the Tour,pre-made sheets of labels with the address's on them, and there is a flyer that each CR can sign on behalf of each chapter.Also,we have included an envelope for donations to help get him overseas,a dollar each would be great.Donations arent necessary,but very welcome.If you do add to the donations,please wright on the envolope your chapter and how much you put in.Whatever is left over will be used to help get the presentation for C3 going.

Remember,have fun with this.Use your imagination,dress him up if you wanna,but please no permanent scarring.

To help keep track of where he is,I would like to ask that when you receive him to please post in this thread that you have received him,and when you send him back out.
