Most people are saying diablo 3 what do you guys think?

 

New franchise or Diablo III or maybe a Starcraft MMO or maybe Warcraft IV.

I'm thinking Diablo III.

or maybe its BlizzCon, eh who knows.

 

Are you sure its not just a loader for SCII?

 

Yes they have already announced starcraft 2.. Hopefully they announce diablo 3.. the thing is the blue ice.. it could be something to do with wow or maybe WOS??

 

Could be wrath of the lich king related. Perplexing.

If you check the history they only do these big release things with new games.

 

I hope it's a side-scrolling beat'em'up.

 

They did actually do one side-scroll beat them up and that would have been superman returns for the super nitendo system.. I was suprised when i found that out.

 

They did a similar thing when they announced a new battle.net season.

Folks at IGN have recognized them as symbols from various Blizzard projects. One of them is a Protoss symbol and another is from Diablo II.

 

So a Starcraft/Diablo cross-over game?

 

Most people are speculating a diablo 3..

If you remember the launch of starcraft II they had all the images from the other games as the days counted down to launch.. The ice will be melted on saturday. According to DiabloFans.com Rob Pardo has said that for sure it is a game announcement that is coming. There might even be two games coming out. It is an exciting time to be a Blizzard fan.

The first is a rune from Frostmourne, Athras' Sword from Warcraft (This has changed slightly with each pic)

The second is the "Hel" rune from Diablo2

The Third is the Protoss symbol from Starcraft

Its a D3 Announcement offical according to this site (Im not convinced yet but I want D3)

Speaking under conditions of anonymity, a senior UK development source has claimed today that the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational game announcement Rob Pardo alluded to in Paris this morning is definitely Diablo III.

A second, highly-placed European source has also just told us that they are ?sure? that Diablo III will be revealed on Saturday afternoon at the event.

If true, the internet will snap. Blizzard?s been teasing all week on the game and speculation, to say the least, is running hot.

We?ll be there, God willing. We should probably book a hotel and a flight soon
