Fan Films in South Africa

Is anyone making Fan Films in South Africa? I would love to make one and am looking for other interested people. I am in Cape Town but people from anywhere in SA are welcome to contact me.

 

I don't know of anyone who is making any fan films locally, but I think it would be a helluva lotta fun to do something along those lines I am Pta/Jhb though ...

 

I live in CT and have been involved in the film industry for many years.
I am dying to make a fan film.
I have a script (2nd draft) for a 10 min film.
Finding a crew willing to work for free is my biggest obstacle at the moment.

 

I've contemplated this before and have only considered making fan films using CGI or using a PC game engine ( Machinima ) because you would struggle to get enough people, costumes, props and sets to make a decent looking Star Wars fan film. With graphics you don't really have any limitations, but it is a LOT of work.
