Well, this should be an easy final match-up. "Across the Stars" is nothing compared to "Battle of Endor II."

 

yeah, well, the Imperial March is nothing compared to BoE1 and look how that went

 

Not necessarily. A lot of you are robbing yourselves of the true "Imperial March" by listening to that awful, tinny, sped-up mix from the Special Edition set.

 

I know, I know. It was a tough choice, but ATS is probably my favorite JW piece. If it were up against anything else, it would have lost. In the earlier voting, pretty much everything that was in ESB got my vote.

I kind of like Love Pledge And The Arena more than Across, which is odd. I also like Duel more than any of them. But tourney's certainly bring interesting results to the table every time.

"The Battle of Endor II"

It should have been something from Star Wars.

 

Oooh! I was preparing myself for a matchup between Across the Stars and BOEII. But this... Much harder...

I have to go with:

THE CLASH OF LIGHTSABERS

It's much shorter than BOEII, but I don't know... It has the ESB feel to it that no other movie has... And it's one of the first OT tracks that really caught my attention.

I knew the Clash of Lightsabers would make it to the end, but I figured it would be facing the throne room from a new hope. Though thats not to say the Battle of Endor II is a lightweight. 6 minutes longer than the clash, it certainly has its moments. The best parts being the dark side beckons and the emperors death. The dark side beckons really captures the battle between good and evil and father and son really well and the emperors death portion is just fun picturing the emperor pull out some unexpected lightning and torture luke.

So my vote goes to...

The Clash of Lightsabers


Much shorter, but right to the point. It incorporates all the major themes of TESB and in a nice piece it all flows together. First it basically hits us with the imperial march in a "you can't escape" type fashion and then we get into escape music, followed by a great climax to the track. Short and sweet.

 

No, I just can't do it...

Battle of Endor II takes it.
