Febuary meeting...joint meeting with other FanForces

So how do ya'll feel about trying to have another joint meeting? I've been asked by the Raleigh rep if we'ld like to do that with them. So far they've suggested a Steakhouse / BBQ place off I-40 in Greensboro. If we have it in Greensboro, we could also invite the Greensboro Chapter (obviously) and maybe anakin_girl and some others from Charlotte could come up for it as well. What do ya'll think about this for our Febuary meeting?

How far are you all from VA...for the Tim Zahn book signing?

Cause I am going to that...and I know that several FFs will be there.

 

Depends on what part of Viginia. Could be anywhere from 30 to 45 mins. to 4-5 hours drine. When and where is it?

Yeah, this wouldn't exactly be convenient for you guys but it is an excuse for some of us just to get together and party for one night if you feel like making the trip. Let me know on the DC boards if any of you plan to show up.

I'm 30, so I have been "legal" for nine years. And I would just like to say that beer is overrated.

 

Brightstar I share the golden age of 30 with you!!! And I must say that you are wrong. Beer is amazing!! Perhaps you have just been drinking the wrong kind. The spooky kid and I can help you with this problem. We can help to brimg you into the embrace of the darkside of beer!!! LOL!

LOL! Although I am not of age, that doesn't mean I don't have the means. My favorite is Corona. Personally I can't stand American beer of any kind.

if you don't think this is a good beer then you don't know what good beer is. Brightstar....give it a try. It's kinda pricy but, you get what you pay for.

I disagree my Master. I like Corona as well especially with a lime. I love Dos Exquis as well mexican beer is very good beer. But it is nothing compared to Rolling Rock!! It goes down smooth like water. My favorite that I always buy would be Michelob light!! But my all time fav! The best of the best is FOSTERS!!!! and in the oil can!!!!! It's expensive but it will turn you over to the darkside very, very quick!!!!!!!

So what's up is there no Febuary Meeting? I propose we meet in Winston Salem!!!!!! For that is truly where the darkside resides!!! We can have dinner and beer and make further discussion on conquering Indiana!!!!! Celebration 3 here we come!!!!!

 

I agree....when and where should we have the next meeting? I'm jonesin' for another get together. Something to get me out of my f'in' house for a few hours. Any saturday or sunday is fine with me. Hell, I don't even give a fodder if you wanted to have it on the 14th. How about the 21st or the 22nd? Where do you proprose?
