    Just an FYI:

The city of East Peoria is having their Festival of Lights thru Dec 30. It is a breathtaking drive. If anyone wants a fun trip you should see the lights. There is a great Tie Fighter and X-Wing made of lights. It is $5 per vehichle. Check it out! Next year there is hope to join the parade in costume.

As of right now, it was 33 years and a day ago that I was born in Peoria ...

    (Happy Birthday to me!)

It is about 100 miles and takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes to make the drive. If you go, be sure to visit the Heights and get some tamales from the Velvet Freeze.

I havent been down to see the lights for 15 years. Maybe next year we will go down. It wont be long and we will be old enough to take the senior trip down on Tri-State tours lol.

    Well Happy Birthday then!!! :)
I guess I probably will not be making the trip to see the lights, unless it is dark when we go though on our way back to Arkansas. Is it over after Christmas? We will be back though on the 2nd
