Orlando, FL Final Recap for Today's Meeting (3-9-2002)

We'll be meeting at the Chili's on State Road 436, just five miles west of the Altamonte Springs I-4 exit in Apopka around quarter till twelve. From there, we'll head to the library for our 1:30 meeting.

After the meeting, the current plan is to go ice skating. The best place I've found is the RDV Sportsplex in Maitland, just a half mile west of the Maitland I-4 exit.

Other than that, just have fun. Any problems or needs for directions, just call my cell phone at 407 312-6189 and ask for Jeff.

I won't be able to make the meeting today. I'm really sorry. My parents have to move a bunch of furniture because we're getting hardwood floors put in 3 rooms in our house on Monday.

I may or may not make it to the next meeting. It depends on how long of a drive it is from Crystal Springs to Orlando.

Today my mom is going to drop me off to the mall with my little sister and her friend. I have to babysit. :groans:

Could someone please let me know what happened at the meeting later on?

What was on Buzz's secret agenda? Did you go ice skating?

I did! We were going to go to the one near the libray where the meetings are, but we wouldn't have had a lot of skate time by the time we got there. So we went to coral springs instead. My mom thinks there's a rink near where I live, like two towns away. If there is then my sister and I will most likely start lessons.

Did you have any meetings in the parking lot? lol.

Should have come Dior- We discussed a lot of biz that I am not going to step on Gigam's toes and blurt out there.... can I just say this please CR??? The scope of the Orlando Systems activities is not restricted to one Saturday a month. There are a few things comming online that everyone can get involved in..... I really want to run with this one but I shall differ to our leader.
We also filmed a lot of material for the LOTS film on blue screen. I am an Actor!! Well the Hannibal Smith kind of actor from the A-Team...

We didn't leave Chilli's until 1230. There was only 3 of us and 2 of us had SW shirts on.

I'll try to get at least some still of the bluescreen footage up soon. At least against appropriate backgrounds...

but I'm glad we got the bluescreen stuff done...it looks from my cam's perspective that everything worked out okay... and I'm sure if it worked on my cam, then Sandy's uber-cam got it!

department store
the hostess who helped was a was well-dressed and attractive african-american
lady-she said this is the only chili's in this city
the other chili's is in alpoka

 

We were at the one in Apopka.

 

Wow...isn't this like the second time this happened? The only other meeting I've been able to make someone else went to the wrong Chilli's.

We occasionally have folks that show up at the wrong location for a meeting. At our last three meetings, I've gotten phone calls from folks who were lost or at the wrong location. I suppose it is one of the problems of living in a big city that has multiple locations of the same restaurant.

 

Maya... we all wimped on the ice skating. We voted for Putt-Putt. But filming took a while and we didn't do that. Promise next meeting we will go out and do something dangerous.
The secret hidden agenda was to drive Cigam nuts and I am pretty sure I did that I appologised on another thread for it.

i went the saturday before halloween,it was a trip
the tour guide said the laudary room in the hotel was vortex to another
place (he was very seriously during the tour)
he pointed out the fairy and gnome bush-they live in the bush
some people could get early and rig something up
we go on the tour -walk past fairl/gnome bush-the trick goes off
watch tour guide pee and crap
we could annoy the tour guide with questions about the force v/ pyshics
or go to a political rally an annoy politicans with star wars questions
somepeople could dress-up like darth maul, vader, boba fett and jump out of the bushes would we are all tour-we put out our light sabers and have battle in the streets on casadaga
i've been on the dark humor side of the force for a long
i had hoped that the opening for "clones" would have been boba fett choking
