Flying in Battlefront II

When you are flying a starfighter or bomber or transport in Battlefront II, do you ever use the roll function on your ship? Not turning right and left, but rather tipping your ship left and right? I tried doing that when also turning and it seemed to make my turns a little faster. But idk. What do you think?

 

Use it all the time.

 

It's a vital move I feel in a heated battle, and as you say it aids turning that bit quicker.

 

Does anyone of you use the turrets on the Venators? I never do. There are quite useless.

 

I was about to ask that. I think I've only killed like 2 or 3 bombers with those and that's it. And the other enemy turrets always can reach me and harm me but I can never reach them.....

And some of the space-to-ground mod maps for Battlefront II have a turret at the bottom of the capital ships which you can get into like any other turret and orbital bombard...but I never works.
