A Mass Effect 4 game? Awesome! Now I just need to get through exams this week...

 

Hey, is one of you guys Raven Lightstar on facebook? I got a friend request and have no idea who this is... but it sounds fandom-y, so if it's anyone I know, it's probably someone here. (PM me if you don't want to out yourself, obviously!)

Well, Monday marked the "end" of Spartan Ops Season 1! I was actually impressed with these final missions to the point where I legitimately enjoyed them, particularly with the mission Everything Has Gone Wrong where the location you supposedly secured comes under heavy attack complete with a Covenant Cruiser overhead. While you fight for your lives, a second Spartan Team is called in to take out the Cruiser. Overall I thought the atmosphere was awesome with some added humor with the interactions of Spartan Miller and AI Roland.

Of course, a reason why these missions were so great could be because they felt the most like Firefight

Ah well, Season 1 is over. Now comes the wait for Season 2. Still not sure how I feel about Spartan Ops overall but my opinion of it has been getting better. Hopefully when the next season comes out, 343 has learned to make the missions more unique and just a lot more entertaining.

And I also hope they don't decide to make the next season paid DLC

 

I just want to say, the appearance of Roland is the coolest

 

By the way, the PS3 has no games argument doesn't exactly work any more, as, even with Microsoft threatening to sue game developers if they content for the PS3 like they did to Bethesda with Skyrim: Dawnguard (its true, look it up), there still is a decent collection of games for the PS3 due to all the simultaneous PC/360/PS3 releases and the fact that Sony finally got their act together and has been releasing console exclusives (even if a good portion of them are PSN downloads).

Well the PS3 has no games argument was much more valid when it first came out That and the "PS3 has no games" thing is just a joke now that I like to say.

 

That's a valid point, Kev (Although IIRC MS and Bethesda had a really funky contract that led to that lawsuit) but it doesn't change the fact that PS3 HAZ NO GAEMS.

I never got into Borderlands, but I've heard greatness

 

Borderlands was okay. Nothing really memorable about it. Borderlands 2, however, sounds like they made everything better.

 

I am more tempted, but what of the colors? With my limited knowledge? I am tempted to play a Geth just to be unknowing and upfront about it, but which is better? A Geth in Blue? Or something else in Red? Which pill should someone like me choose?

 

Geth got destroyed in Red soooooo....

Unless Saint decided to throw in something that I don't know about. To be fair, I haven't looked at the games yet though. Probably should do so during whatever break I get between work and my Halo 4 play time >.>

Yes, they did. I'm not just talking Mass Effect 1 vs. Mass Effect 2 changes either.

Borderlands 2 is extremely polished, they took everything that was good about the first one and made it better, and fixed everything that was wrong about the first one big time as well.
