I'd just like to thank the Dutch people...

    for their lovely gifts to Canada. Every year, the dutch send 20,000 tulips to Canada, as a gift for protecting the Dutch Royal Family, and Liberating Holland in WWII. I wanted you to know as a Canadian, that we appreciate the gift, whether you knew about it or not! :)
    (I live less than 1/2 a kilometre away from the flower beds :D )
