Tarantino movies are quality, so are Kubric`s... hmmm....Kevin Smith movies aare hilarious too...

 

Things to rent:

'cuz Halloween's coming up, John Carpenter's The Thing and balance it out with The Nightmare Before Christmas.

animated but not Disney dept., you must watch Grave of the Fireflies and balance it out with a box of Kleenex and My Neighbour Totoro.

Get a group of friends together to watch anything by Monty Python, a classic Godzilla film (not the Mathew Broderick one - I'm talkin the real Godzilla here) or the aforementioned Evil Dead films. None of these really work well when watched alone. Larger the group, the better the film experience.

Tampopo. Watch this film just prior to dinner time - preferably prior to a nice bowl of ramen. Best Toronto experience for me was seeing this film on the big screen and then heading over to Oja for some ramen with pork.

 

Yeah, the O.G. Godzilla movies are AWSOME!!!..I really Liked Godzilla 2000 LOL, "There`s a little Godzilla in all of us" LOL, how great was that?

 

Godzilla films are full of great lines like that.

"The robot is growing!"
"He must have programmed himself to grow!"
