Yes, we're all hopelessly addicted here. In time, you'll learn of the X-wing series, Imp warlords, crazed Scar Heads, and much, much more. You're starting off at a good point, with the Thrawn trilogy. Have fun. :D

    Welcome aboard, Schwartz! :D

You've chosen a good place to start. I suggest you be sure to take note of the chonological position of any of the stuff you read in the future...it can easily get confusing trying to remember whether "The Black Fleet Crisis" was before or after "The Corellian Trilogy" and "The New Rebellion" ;)

There's also a lot of good stuff that slots in between the films, to kind of compliment and expand on them in some area's. I highly recommend "Shadows Of the Empire" and "Splinter Of the Minds Eye", both quality reads IMO.

    :)

Well since were pitching social clubs, skylarks jungle cafe has a laid back more personal feel to it.

I recomend reading the jedi academy trilogy and ijedi after finishing TTT.

Welcome, Schwartz. There's lots of fan clubs to join, too, where we talk EU. Just be careful where you venture. Lurk and read (always go back a few pages) before you decide to join. They can be lots of fun - and they can get a bit overwhelming too.

    *raises glass in toast* WELCOME!

Yeah, but it would make so much more sense if you read I,Jedi after the X-wing series.

We should come up with a list of which books to read in what order for EU Newbs.

Yes welcome. Once you get done reading the books they said, read The New Jedi Order. In my opinion, it is teh best.
