I have been recently been made aware that a download link for Broken Allegiance has been pointing to the older, first release version of the film and not the newer, final released re-mastered edition.

To check whether you have the correct version of BA, open the quicktime file then click Window --> Show Movie Info.

At the top of the movie info box it should say:

    "STAR WARS:Broken Allegiance [Re-mastered Edition]"

If it does not have this then you have an old inferior version of the film!

Interesting, my filename says remastered, but the title doesn't.

    There is A LOT different.

Redone effects shots, remixed music. Totally different effects shots replaced older ones.

We are talking major changes including completely remixed and remastered stereo audio.

    So there is a difference.

"Interesting, my filename says remastered, but the title doesn't. "

So which would mine be, Vid? The emergency server is just linking to a ba_large.mov file...

When you look at the movie info, click on author and it should say Remastered Edition. Oh, and the one on the emergency servers is the Remastered Edition because I downloaded last night.

load up BA, then click on Movie, then click on Movie Properties. Under Properties, it should say Full Name, and Author. Click on Author to see.

Both the main server and backup server should be the remastered versions now.

If you have the original, grab the remastered version. It was Nick's chance to fix the problems that he initially discovered.
