Ok, my Mom bought my dog "Chico" one of those pig ears that you can buy at the pet store. Anyway, he's had the ear with him all night. And when you try to sit next to him, he gives you this cold lunatic like stare. It's scary! I've never seen anything like it for a dog.

And if you put your hand near the pig ear or even touch him, he snarl, jump and snap at you. We can't get it away from him. We don't think he'll come up to bed.

Has anyone ever had this happen to them before?

Spash holy water on him, clears it right up.

Unless he starts steaming, then he was a vampire and you shouldn't have used the holy water.

Don't worry about it. Once he's eaten his pig ear (probably won't take too long) he'll get back to normal.

All dogs get protective of bones, etc. That's why we don't give any to Jessie. Just take it away once he falls asleep.

It won't work he's too smart. He brought it to bed with him, MY BED! I'm afraid to go to bed.

I'll just sleep in this chair...though it may cause paralysis. :p

EDIT: He layed his head on top of the pig ear. I told you all! He's smart!

What if I accidently kick him in my sleep and end up having my foot knawed off?

Just wait until he's asleep, then pull it out from under him.

If you're fast enough it'll be gone before he knows what's happening.

He's like any dog with a bone. Like I said, wait until he's asleep then swipe it.
