Amph JMS Ending Thor Run- Might Be Doing Superman Next

    Yes, the execution left much to be desired, but I think the people in charge took the "ah the hell with it, they are going to hate it anyway" approach.

    Marvel Comics are understandably getting "conservative" and apparently returning to this soap opera-ish "Neo Silver Age" sensibility. Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Uncanny X-Men are probably the bext examples of this. The crazy creative times of Nu Marvel are gone. :(

    I hate BND overall, but New Ways to Die was quite good. I haven't tried the ones in it's wake, though. I figure I'll grab trades of any storylines that are truely outstanding like NWTD, let them be worthy of being on the shelf next to JMS's run.

    Of course, I'm still hoping they'll eventually do a "One Last Day" arc and undo at least part of the BND event, because, IMO, the only creatively sound storyline to justify BND is telling the story where things are set right.
