I wouldn't mind going but I don't think I can scratch up the cash. This has been a chronic problem for me for years of wanting to go to the Faire.

 

Just wondering when those that are attending are planning on arriving?

 

I don't know how it would be possible for me to go. I have no ride and no gaurdian to come with me. My brother is still recovering from his back surgery from tuesday. He was well enough to go to a friends house tonight but he refuses to take me to KRF, especially since it's for a Rebels meet. I really wish I could go...

 

i could have given u a ride leia but u refused, where r we gonna meet at the fair???? did we purchase tickets in advance?????

 

Can you even buy tickets in advance? I'm buying mine when I show up.

But there's the question: when is this thing officially starting anyways? I'm only a few minutes from Carver at home, so I don't want to be waiting around forever for people to show up. IS noon the appropriate time?

 

I'm not altogether sure. I *think* I have to work again. But we'll see...even at that, getting a seat on the train will be a bear.

I just checked the weather AGAIN.

It looks like it is will be raining heavily all day tomorrow and the high would only be 60 degrees.

I dont know if Im willing to spend the day out in that.

Thoughts?

 

i'm going rain or shine (well if it's pouring i won't go)
got my ticket in advance because i could save a few bucks
will be there at 12 noon with friend, dad, and now my sister will be joining us

 

I'm not going due to the weather. Ren. faires are wicked fun but not when it's raining.
Instead I'm going to Boston!

I don't know if I'm going to go. If I go I will be driving there by myself and I am not that into King Richards Fair. I don't want to go and then not have anyone be there. I will check out the thread in the morning and see if Carrie and Eric are still going. If they go I will go.

We are betrayed! Gods above and below...I come all the way across the state to come to this meet and you guys cancel on me? Just because of a little rain? I might as well have saved myself $35 bucks for the bus fare if I'd known in advance this was going to happen. THe biggest thing I was looking forward to this weekend was meeting up with you guys again.

No offense to Carrie and Scott, but it just won't be the same without the rest of you. I'm not even sure if I want to go now because of this. It's an expensive faire and I don't exactly have a lot of money to throw around without good reason. This would've been a good reason, but when almost everybody cancels the day before it really makes it harder to justify.

Oh, and I just looked outside. It's not even raining. Cloudy and damp, yes, but no rain.
