Sac, CA Next meeting: the evening of Saturday August 17th.

I'm thinking the more advance warning I give everyone, the more likely most people can attend.

We can meet at the large theater on the corner of Arden and Ethan Way for a movie. There should be a 7:00-something showing that evening of what we want to see. The movie times will be announced a few days before the event, so I'll post the time here then. After the movie we can hang out at Starbucks or Leatherby's or something nearby depending on preferences.

So what movie should we see? We've talked some about K-19, but we're hearing a lot about the Road to Perdition too. By mid-August maybe something else will be released as well. We have a few weeks to discuss and decide.

Save the evening on your calendars though and pm me any questions.

I will be there but Sithtwin is ditching me that weekend for a woman?s church camping retreat. I don?t know why they call it camping; they stay in this really nice hotel on the coast. Just call me bitter. Anyway I look forward to it, and Sithtwin also wished she could come, but she did have it planed a long time ago I just forgot.

 

Terrific! I get to go to a Fan Force Event for once. Well, besides the ever-growing Friday Kahuna Lunch-Fest, I mean.

That Saturday is currently looking open. I need to get a t-shirt (size M), too. How 'bout Austin Powers? The Adventures of Pluto Nash (silly-looking Eddie Murphy movie)? The Master of Disguise? xXx? I'm not sure that there's actually any Star Wars connection with any of these movies, though....

 

I just saw Austin Powers. I laughed so hard I cried! And I think...I think they might have been playing a bit of Deul of the Fates in one of the scenes, not sure though I was laughing too hard to hear.
