NOVEMBER 14TH MEETING MINITES.


Recap of events

Holloween party was a hit TA members, HRR members and Jasons military buds came out for a great time and a costume surprise by our elustrious leader, no comment. lol.

Some TA members attened the Star Wars concert it was awsome.

Dec 19 TA xmas party in the room with the kitchen 2- 5pm pot luck and raffle will be done. So please bring something to raffle off.

OPERATION XMAS CHILD
I need to have your xmas shoe box by no later than the 20th so I can meet the deadlineof the 23 to mail them out. or you can individually mail them saving me some time and running around.

C-V looks like Orlando but also puts a conflict with Dragon Con
Looks like its gonna be August in Orlando Florida. Bad time of yr too, hight of hurricane season

Dragon Con we have Two rooms at the Sharriton labor day weekend. List will be posted for both events as time moves into 2010

Galacticon will be in March 27th one day event. 10 am to 4 pm. Emails have been sent to groups a few have already confirmed .
some suggestions were made like

*Play Clone wars cartoon during con
Volunterrs for this event are extreamly important.

Chirs is making a TonTon for little ones to sit on it and have pics made. Chris will contact Tracy with the klingon grp to do demo and table in the fan room. Im trying to put dance troup Demo together as well, and do the costume Mascarade ,

Thad is going to get with Theon and see about possibly getting the Lake house this is tentative

Prop day will be announce/ for those that have jedi props to do and those who would like to learn to make props

Next meeting will be a show and tell, so bring any cool goddies you want to show off.

Is there a signup list for the 19th? Didn't want to bring dessert if there's already a lot of sweets on the way

 

Ditto...We would like to bring something that is not in abundance so a list would be great!!!
