Before - Legends Obedience- A short Viggi about a Master and his ever obedient Padawan - Qui- Obi

Obi-wan stared at the place where Qui-Gon was currently sitting; his mouth was gaping open, he was shocked that his Master would loose concentration in this way and find himself in his current predicament.

?Padawan are you going to stand there all day waiting for a fly to enter your mouth, or are you going to close it and come and assist me.? Qui-Gon asked his now dismayed apprentice.

Obi-wan started to shake his head. ?Do I have to?? Obi asked

?If you do not intend to help me, we are going to be very late for the Ambassadors party and as I have indicated, I require some assistance, and as you are ?my apprentice? it is your duty, if I so request it to help me? He stated.

?But Master,! please do not make me, I spent all afternoon making sure I was presentable for the Ambassadors party.

Does it have to be me, that has to help you?? He whined.

?I can go and find some one else to assist you.? Obi added.

?Obi-wan if you wish me to give you a direct order, I will?" Qui-Gon glared at his now sullen apprentice.

?But I thought you would help your Master no matter what conditions we found ourselves in.? Qui added.

?But Master I am not in the same condition as you, and if I come in there, I can assure you that I will not go, to the Ambassadors party.?
Obi confirmed folding his arms across his chest.

?Very well then Padawan, I will not ask you again, I will do it my self.? Qui-Gon snapped.

Qui-Gon inched closer and closer until he was within a metre of the edge.

To help his Master Obi-wan would need to go to him.
But for some reason Obi-wan could sense his Master was not as stuck as he said he was.

?Now my Padawan you will wade out here and take my hand and pull me out.? Qui-Gon berated

Obi-wan hesitated. ?But Master I do not see the point of both of us being late for the Ambassadors party.?
Obi-wan practically begged.

?Isn?t it more important that you assist me, ?Padawan? than worry about a party.?

?But Master I have been looking forward to dancing with the Ambassadors Daughter. You promised me that nothing would interfere with our down time, 'this time Master !?

?Obi-wan lighten up You worry to much, didn?t I give you my word that you would enjoy yourself on this vacation.?

?Yes Master - You did give your word? Obi-wan admitted.

?Tell me Padawan have you had a good time since we have been here?? Qui-Gon asked while waiting for Obi-wan to help him.

?Yes Master I have had the best time, but I think the good times are going to be over shortly? Obi-wan said as he fretted.

?Nonsense Padawan this is just a detour.? His Master said with a smile.

Qui-Gon held out his hand. ?Now my ever obedient Padawan take my hand? Qui-Gon said sharply.

Obi-wan waded out , with a repulsed look on his face and extended his hand grasping his Masters, and was about to pull him out when Qui-Gon reached up and pulled Obi-wan by the front of his tunic.

Obi-wan yelled ?No Master you wouldn?t?



?Oh But I would my Padawan who just hates to get dirty? he said. As Qui-Gon pulled his very perfect
and proper and clean apprentice into the mud hole that Qui-Gon had slipped into.

He laughed at his now covered in mud apprentice, and said. ?Besides my ever faithful Padawan the party doesn?t start for another hour yet.?


Short but fun I hope.

 

short but fun indeed! nice to see qui pull something like that on obi! i can picture obi's reaction when he falls into the mud... i bet he was a bit upset at first, but eventually i'm sure he saw the humor in the situation!

AWwwww. I dont want Qui-go to die in TPM....Sorry just a little agry about that ending.*Sigh* This is why its hrad for me to read before the saga. I feel so bad about Obi.

 

Oh poor Obi-Wan, having his master do that to him. I think he'd be shocked and a bit angry, but then get into the fun. Probably start some mudwrestling or something with Qui.

but every now and then a twinkle of humour escaped him
so hopefully he would see the funny side.
