Madison, WI October Meeting

well so far we have the 14th and the 22nd
the 14th seems to work well for at least two people

 

Saturday the 14th seems fine for both Me and Nat

 

so all we need now is Val and Rick

 

Not sure which date you all plan to go with, but it seems we still need a location.

Bevan and I would like to offer his place as a possibility. I figure since an interest in the "new" old trilogy movies and Lego video games was expressed we could have a movie and gaming day. We also have Munchkin we could pull out too. Also there is a Little Ceasar's not too far away and I'd be willing to pay for pizza.

 

That does sound like a good idea.

 

Is it easy to reach by bus? Or by bike from UW?

 

I'm fine with meeting up at your guy's place. That does sound fun, you have a copy of the new old trilogy right? if not I'll bring mine. But yeah I do work till 6 on Saturday but if we do decide to go with 7 that would work fine, I could easily make it to the west side by then.

I just moved into town, so I'm not familiar with the bus system. His condo is near the West Towne Mall and Elver Park if that helps in figuring out bus.

 

Forcebewitya, Yes we do have the new "Unaltered" OT DVD set. And the Pretrilogy. And the Clone Wars cartoons.

And Lego Star Wars I and II: The Original Trilogy.

We got it all.

Sauntaero, looking at the bus schedule maps for the weekends, if I am reading this right you need to get yourself to the West Transfer Point, then bus route 63 seems to be the closest. Looks like the best stop to get off from is on route 63, Watts road and High Point road. From there, it's about a mile from there so not too bad. I would recommend you haul your bike with you on the bus, and doublecheck the schedules.

As for directions, I will do those by PM, but to make sure I get everyone, I will start the proverbial mailing list. Whoever puts their name on this list before Friday around noonish or PM me as needed, and I'll PM with directions. Please use username, as I'll just be going down the list.

D'oh, I was free the weekend of the 20-22, oh well. One of these days I'll get to a madison or milwaukee event.

 

The next time we will get together would most likely be the weekend of Nov. 17th at Filmcon

 

well i can say that michelle and I had a good time at the meeting. It was really nice to meet you, Claire, and Natalie, and nice to see you again bevin. You all better be in for Filmcon since as ryan said that will probably be our next meeting time. btw sorry about not capitalizing i just sliced a corner of my finger off with a box cutter...yes I'm sill typing lol. thats two deep cuts in my hands this month. prop work can be dangerous.

I had alot of fun as well you two have a great place and it was nice meeting both Claire and Natalie as well.
