Anyways, yes, I think it definitely should. This way, when EpIII ends extremely sadly (which I darn hope it does), it will contrast the other movies so much more.

 

Oh yes. Ep.III MUST end sadly. I can't wait for all the darkness and Anakin's turn and what happens to Padme...

Something I ain't seen mentioned.
Bail Organa.

Will his music sound like Leia's? Will we see this evolving into a theme that ties to an idea and not just a person?
(For example--)
LUKE theme = STAR WARS theme
VADER theme = EMPIRE theme
OBI-WAN theme = FORCE theme

Perhaps Leia's theme will become a general Organa theme, or an Alderaan theme?
Or am I just reading too much into things?

 

That's an interesting idea. Without knowing how major of a character he is, it is difficult to say if he will get a theme or not. Perhaps there will be some sort of music motif for the Senate or for the "good" senators like Organa.

 

Dudes.... these are a LOT of motif/themes.

JW usually only has about 3 or 4 *tops* in each new movie. You guys are talking 8, 9, and above! [face_shocked]

The end credits would go on for hours! [face_shocked]

stri, I wasn't talking about the end credits either. I was talking about the movie in general. JW usually only introduces 2 or 3 new themes in each movie, but you guys are talking a truckload! I mean, A "Good Senator Theme"... LOL, c'mon guys, let's be realistic.

My comment about the end credits was more an afterthought than having anything to do with the real purpose of my post!

-Anakin's Theme
-Trade Federation / Battle Droid theme
-Naboo battle theme
-Qui-Gon's theme
-Shmi's theme

Um, come on, those are hardly recognizable. I SORTA know what you're talking about, but they're both very vague.

I'd say the other 3 were more definitely themes than those. Which equals 3.

 

-Duel of the Fates theme .... Used many times... definately a major theme
-Anakin's Theme .... used many times... also a major theme
-Trade Federation / Battle Droid theme .... used at least 3 times if not more... enough to be called a theme
-Naboo battle theme .... used at least 3 times during the final battle sequence
-Qui-Gon's theme .... used 3 times... enough to be a minor theme
-Shmi's theme .... Used 2 times... maybe a theme, only time will tell with AOTC.


Besides which, these Good Senator themes and stuff that we are talking about would be minor little themes LIKE Qui-Gon's that are only used 2 or 3 times... No one is saying these would be major themes on par with the Love theme or anything...

 

LOL, I can imagine:

"Ooo! Ooo! It's the "Good Senator Theme"! Quiet!"

Ugggggh, let's think of a better name at least, eh?

 

We'll have to wait for the movie for that.

Maybe the "Bad Senators" get a theme. We'll call it the "Happy Senator's Theme"

 

Fine we'll call it the Charismatic Republicans theme. Or the Organa Clan theme.

Since the Tusken Raiders are in the EpII databank , we can assume they'll make an appearance in AOTC ...

So, the somewhat violent Tusken percussion motif could be used at some point.... to my delight!!!
