and
is from New Zealnd

It is a 4-player game

the other 2- players are also from New Zealand (oh what a surprise)
and have never won a game (oh what a surprise)
and have played a lot of games with RED (oh what a surprise)

and so, unless they all deadbeat, I am doomed


but,

I have let them (or should I say the one guy behind multiple accounts)

know in game chat how things look to me

at that point__lively game play stopped

Hey, all three accounts (1-guy I say) playing against me in the game,
have been vaporized by the CC-mods

 

even if it's not one guy, there have been numerous complaints about all of them having secret alliances which are illegal in cc. so, do you get any points for the game?

 

Not that I noticed_______I think that I just took the loss.

or was just at CC web site and noticed that the "CLASSIC" map no longer exists!

and I went immediately to the forums and found a thread for what happened,

found a thread specifically on the topic,

it related
legal actions
as the cause

and


I went to post on it and by the time I hit enter it seems to have been pulled.


If the makers of RISK, are really going after the CC site,

I believe they have a good chance of winning, as they own the copyright to the
orgianl board

and more importantly, the game concept.

Yeah, they changed it to avoid legal hassle. Hasbro had a right (and a duty) to defend their copyright.

With the hundred other maps or so it doesn't really bother me that the official risk map is gone. However, I think it will inhibit their ability to attract new players who are looking for online RISK ( like I was ).

TW....i came up with the name, the 'Mutha' to describe the annual Pre-Thanksgiving game last year or two years ago, and just pulled it out of my hind end again.
