649 It's a Shame She Didn't Grab That Script While She Was There

We have seen the 4th wall broken many times, but that is quite probably the best I have ever seen. Hysterical.

Too bad she didn't grab Roys's Sword too, or Belkar's sword for that matter. When brought up to 3.5 rules belakar had "shrinkage", his sword in the cast is larger. Now that I say it, where is Roy's sword? Did The Order recover it?

I will bet we see the two pick pockets again.

I thought the sword was in the wagon with Roy's remains, but I don't explicitly recall seeing it recently.

Somehow I think something bad is going to happen to V. Something VERY bad. Roy's going to come back, tell them about the "sub-contractors" and then they have to try and save V, somehow...

 

V is seriously going to regret this.

 

The 2 remaining splices seemed to fool Roy so he might not confront V on the matter. And it still has not been that great a span of time since the splices started. I wonder though, was the deal not for all 3 splices? One got away so perhaps V can use that as a "fine print" means of pulling one over on The Fiends.

Well, a forshadowing title if ever there was one.

19 minutes and 41 seconds of torment await V so far.

The 2 important lines here:

This would be the first indication of the splices having a challenge.

Yeah, uh, the suspense of this is awesome. My gut tells me V's ego is going to get hir in way too deep, sHe will miss something that could have been seen with a more subtle approach and th ehlp of the team. I wonder if the splices are considered undead while attached to V...

Did Roy always refer to V as "him"?

 

He calls V V-man in one strip I think.

Maybe we can refer to V as a shim.

 

#651 2 eyes in the dark

V is not just taking on Xykon, red Cloak is there, at elast one minion, and the thing in the dark(I think it's a piece of the Snarl).

Quote of the strip:

"Oh man! Where did that elf get beans from?"


SO. Can't kill of Xykon, he's the main baddy and the story is far from over. Perhaps V kills Red Cloak, or perhaps V is killed or stopped or captured. Perhaps V becomes the villain? Joins Team Evil? Seriously, if you have loved theis comic this is like Yoda vs the Emperor, Dumbledore vs Voldemort, etc.
