OK What the **** is going on with our boards? Anyone?

 

We cannot get the logon information for the register.com account, as Greedo no longer has that email address.

The ball was dropped when he tried to transfer the domain to Webb, and it never got followed through on... (from 6 months ago)

So - we have to give them the credit card information from the last time the domain was renewed.

Webb did it, it's his credit card.

Webb is currently filming in Yuma, and is out of touch until this weekend.

Once we have the credit card info, we can then get a new email address into the domain account, have a password sent, and then update the DNS information.

Once the DNS information is updated, it can take up to 72 (sometimes 96) hours for it to update.

At that point the boards will be live.

The reason that some of you can get into the boards, is that whoever you are connecting through, has the DNS information cached... so it's not trying to pull the data fresh from the internet.

That's what's wrong, that's what needs to be done, and we're looking at tuesday or wednesday of next week before the boards are back up. (providing Webb gets home Saturday)
