I know one is afterburner and one is for the laser canon. I have a feeling the other might be for the launcher.

I was waiting for confirmation that I got the last one right but there hasn't been any so I'll (rightly or wrongly) assume I was right, for the sake of keeping things moving.
From now on, I think if you ask a question, be prepared to confirm the answers in the following few days so the thread doesn't die.
Since I'll be scarce in the next week or so I'll ask an easy question.
    Name the cat from Aliens.

What was the difference in the "wierding way" in the 1984 Dune, and the 1999 mini series?

I haven't seen the mini series but the stuff in the movie was nothing like what was in the book. The book had nothing to do with all that sonic crap. It was a fighting style, more like a martial art that included some voice suggestion. I didn't like the movie when I saw it. I didn't think it really followed the books.

I don't know anything about the new series so don't count my answer. Unless of course, the difference is the same as what I pointed out. I've heard the series followes the book a lot better than the movie did (not that hard).

Alright, time to resurect this quiz as well then,

Ok, in the miniseries, the "Wierding way" was a fighting style involving high speed movement, in the movie it was a sonic weapon, that with enough training could be done with the voice alone.

Who did Charlton Heston play in the new Planet of the Apes movie?

So the Dune series is like the book in that regard. I never liked the film much. Is the series available on video here at all. I'd love to see it. Anyway, I'll leave the new question for someone qho's seen the new movie.

Next question's an easy one. Perhaps some of you quiz regulars could leave it for someone who hasn't answered one for a while (unless everyone else takes too long to answer it).
What is the name of the character played by Harrison Ford in Bladerunner?
