Well, now I'm back so I guess I'll post this. Does anyone have any ideas on where we could meet? Preferably not in Boston, but let's throw out some ideas.

I actually would prefer Bosotn. It's easy enough (for most of us) to get to and it would encourage city dwelling fans to come if it was promoted properly. When is Arisia? I think it's coming up.

Worcester's a pretty good drive for us in South-Eastern Mass. and Boston...

I went to the armory a little while ago on a field trip, but I'd go back. The Ringwraiths had Gothic Style armor.

Oops, forgot to post my idea. Well, I like the idea of a movie. Maybe even back again at the Solomon Pond, but it is far for most of us. What exactly is arisia?

The Armoury is worth the drive you guys but I understand. Although It would take me just as long for me to get to Boston as it would for you to get to Higgins. + you guys can take the train in and Theed and I can pick you guys up.
You guys really should see Worcester's newly renivated Union Station, its great.
Well it's up to you guys but...

Seeing another movie isn't a bad idea Will just as long as you guys stick around!!

Personally I'd prefer Boston. I don't own a car and much it's easier for me and I won't to bother someone else.

I got to Worcester at least once a month to visit my relatives who live there. I saw the station and it really looks great, just like a palace!

Well, I would make the drive if we can be assured that a fair number of people will be coming(at least 8).

Not to be rude, but they closed the Worcester, MA forum for a reason. This is the Boston board, let's try to keep it there.

They closed the other two MA boards(Worcester and Springfield), because we all posted here, essentially making FanForce Boston FanForce Massachusetts in the process. Two of our meets have been in Worcester County, and a fair number of our members are from out that way(including Dave, who has been to all but one meet since his arrival). We have to have a balance. Some of our meets should be out there(we had three in Boston in a row, now we can have a few elsewhere, then back to Boston for a few, then, maybe Battleship Cove when the weather warms up?).

I was thinking Battleship Cove for warmer weather, more like June. Being on the water this time of year...not good.

What upcomming flicks are people interested in seeting? The Royal Tenenbaums, Ali, and The Majestic all look like good ones to me.

I like the idea of a movie more than the amory, but depending on the date I'd go anyways. :)

Whatever, doesn't matter to me. Movies are always good, doesn't matter to me what movie it is either.

Yeah, its definitely more interesting if your into that sorta thing.
It used to be a museum dedicated to all things steel but when Mr. Higgins died, it was turned into an "armory" because he had more armor than anything else.
When he died everything he had (including MILLIONS of $) was given to a board of trustees headed by his son. They turned that place into what it is today.

When we go I might buy this claymore that I have been eyeing for months. We'll see...

    They sure are...

If we go to the demonstration, one of us can volunteer and can put on some armor while the guy tries to kill you. :p
