    Hmm the cover had me hoping for classic Storm Troopers, though the preview still has them in Clone Trooper garb. Oh well, will properly be fun anyway. :)

    Pretty sure it's supposed to follow Ghost Prison and the last Dark Times. Sort of an informal arc for Vader. But The Tyrant's Fist is just two issues.

    Honestly I thought that we had already seen enough of the Great Jedi Purge in EU. I mean we have all the comics, the books, and of course The Force Unleashed series.

    Vader actually gets slammed hard by Palpatine verbally, and appears to be changing his style to more subtle tactics at the end of Issue One.

    So, what, he didn't know how to fight a battle throughout the entire Clone Wars? Well, good thing he's learning now. :rolleyes:

    He knew he was going into hostile territory, but still led his men into an area that had a flashing neon sign reading "PERFECT AMBUSH ZONE" over it. "Hey, is our target hiding in a high, narrow canyon with inhabited walls? Great! Let's amble down into the shooting gallery main street on foot!"

    And then he threw his subordinate guy into a wall for . . . I'm still trying to figure out the reason. It's all DUMB BRUTE VADER and it's stupid.

    The story is set "a few months" after Episode III, so he's probably still adapting to his new circumstances and, let's say, kind of touchy.
