VK comes up with the best quotes.
I have acquired ROTS figures #48, 49, and the one everyone's been waiting for.. grilled/roasted Anakin #50.
I still want the voice changing Vader helmet, and I also want a Clone Trooper toy blaster.

What's the difference between the two EP3 clonetrooper figures?

Clone Trooper #6 has a Quick Draw feature, Clone Trooper #41 is "Super Articulated" with a lot of ball joints.

Man! I still need those figures. I guess I'm going to have to break into JR's house so I can steal his.

I saw the super articulated on Saturday! (finally I know what y'all are talking about in here!) I didn't get it though; I've been buying too many SW figs (2 different Palpatines, Dooku, the larger clone troopers & vulture droid ones, and a Han w/cup on my two-Targets-tour on Sat., which made me really want the Yoda one pictured on the back...). Anyway. Still at least 2 more nearby Targets and maybe another + a Toys-R-Us near Mall of America to hit at some point. I've been to Toys-R-Us and two Targets here. (Oh, @ Toys-R-Us, I got Obi-Wan--the #1 one, AT-TE gunner, Mon Mothma, and the cool OT collection Leia that comes in this special SW plastic protector-deal, as well as a coloring book w/stickers and trivia book w/Yoda hologram card on the front...I went a little nuts.) I really want Obi-Wan's (and Anakin's) fighters, but I haven't seen 'em anywhere except the Star Trader when I was there with Scott. I wanted Obi-Wan's starfighter from AotC and never got that either. I have no ships. :( I never even got any of those cool Micromachines ones from a couple years ago...Action Fleet, right?

I dunno if you guys have seen 'em, but there are these SW figs (Playschool, I think) geared towards younger kids that are hilarious. There's a day-glo green Yoda, and a Luke with a landspeeder--but it's a smaller landspeeder that's actually a surf/skateboard...that's the one I most want. Well, I think they're funny anyway. :)

ES, you should have picked up a super articulated any way! Those are pretty hard to come by. You could probably trade it for something if you did not want it. Oh well. The Action Fleet was pretty cool. I used to buy them for my padawan.

They had a Mon Mothma!? Pick it up!!! Do they have Neimoidian Guards too?!? Those are sooo hard to find!!!

I'm kidding. Those figs are doing nothing but warming the pegs right now.

Wow!! We have a new collector in our midst! Welcome ES!

I wish I could quit too.. but it's too hard. It's an addiction. I am seriously out of room. Plus I need to save up for other things that are really expensive.. like a house.. so I can store my SW collection.. it's a viscious circle.

Heh, yeah, I'm not much of a collector though. I *was* disappointed when I didn't have enough time to go to one of those two other Targets (I was right there too! But Best Buy took precedent, as I needed them Daily Show dvds...).
Man, well now I guess I should go back to that Target (and figure out which one it was, hmm) and see if that articulated trooper's still there. Sure we can trade stuff, we should have a toy party sometime! Toy parties are great--mainly party, with SW toys around, which you can trade/sell while you chat & drink.

Why am I still up? Who knows. I got my Vader 500th fig today. It's sort of cool because there's a little lever that makes his helmet go up and down. Otherwise it was an awful lot of money for so little payback.

Yeah! Why are you up this late? Why am I up this late??!?
Anyway, I got my 500th Vader also. But it's at my parent's house for some reason.

OK, Honestly, I am not a fan of this thread, Hence, my absence. I usually have nothing to contribute.
But, I have something to add.

My buddy from Manchester, England sent me these things, which I think are rare and not available here.
Small, little plastic books, ( 1 inch by 2 inch) with a set of 20 stickers from each movie. They are made by Kellogs, but in UK only.
    I have Episode I, 5 and 6. Also, a mini light saber.

The stickers are pretty cool. Some publicity shots, not shown in the movie.
To validate the coolness, I imported a real life collecting dork, to verify the uniqueness. His name is Jedi-Racer.
Anyway, so I have those items now. What do I do with them?

    Has anyone ever seen them?

Yeah, or ES! I just bought a SW sticker book (it's original Trilogy), but it only has 4 pages of stickers, and leaves so many out...Stickers are fun. :) (I sound so retarded.)

You aren't retarded, ES. I have also purchased the sticker books and want more stickers. I hate that they are typically in weird poses that you can't just stick any where, not that I use the stickers either. That's retarded. D@mn that George for making stuff for me to buy!

Didn't know where else to post this, but since it costs money, thought it should go here:

Didn't know if anyone has played it yet, but the Casinos (atleast in Palm Springs) now have a Star Wars 1 cent video slot game that is alot of fun. It's one of those video thingys where you can play multiple lines (in this case lightsabers) and it scrolls down random characters per play. It has bonus games like if a Vader and Kenobi appear, you get to pick one and if your guy wins you get extra $$. The biggest bonus game is the death star game where you need three death star squares to show up on your screen. You then get to pick one of three pegs that will determine you prize on the death star (above the game) by shooting a stormtrooper for the bottom and top pegs. Then the death star spins and determines your prize (kinda like the "wheel of fortune" slot machines). There are alot of SW clips and sound bites so the game is alot of fun. But be forwarned, it will suck your money very very fast! Just thought you guys might be interested.

Heck yeah dude. When I turn 21, I'm going straight to the SW machine...and the force will be with me...in July of 2006..."sigh".

Hey I wanna find one of those Yoda backpacks, remember DH?, those are awesome. But I don't really wanna spend a fortune either.

I want to play a Star Wars slot machine! I'll be in Vegas in a couple of weeks, so I'll keep an eye out for one. The machine better know that I am strong with the force, and give me some money.

APL, are you talking about this Yoda backpack? That's my wife (YodaGirl) with it. That's not her's, but she has one now. I got it on eBay. It was only sold in England so you more than likely have to get one from someone there.

The Yoda backpacks are cool. They aren't cheap either. I think JR spent about $75 on YG's backpack. It is cute though and she wore it to opening night.

Yep, that be the one. ~Cute picture too. I love it, but don't know if I wanna spend that much on it. I'm not sure how often I'd actually wear it..hmmm..decisions...but I do have a bday coming up so cash is on its way...but do I want an Ipod instead? I get a good student discount and want a mini in green (so there's a slightly yoda reference there...hmmmm)

APL, you will probably get more use out of your Yoda Green iPod mini than a Yoda backpack. I have the photo and love it. My padawan has the Jedi blue mini and his friend has the Yoda green one. I know some of his other classmates have the blue one also and others have Saber silver one. I don't know many with the Padme pink one.

On the collecting side, Hallmark ornaments come out next weekend.

I like my iPod, but I have this to say about it. Don't go running with it! Mine keeps skipping and shuts down after two laps around the track. I thought I was going to have to send it in for repairs the other night when it froze up and none of the buttons would work. My roommate was able to press the correct combinations on the the pad to reset the thing and now it works again, but I'm never taking it running ever.

As I understand it, the regular iPod has a hard drive so it can skip. The mini is a RAM or ROM or something like that so it won't skip. This is why there is only the armband for the mini and not the regular one.
