Hehe, Lisa do a banner for us? Hehe.

I'll offer up my artistic services also, just for the heck of it. I think we should have something crazy and zany in it. I don't know, but something more daring than this banner for my FanForce I did.

Okay, well, no matter what, I want a giraffe, an evil duck and "cuddles" somewhere on the banner.

I really don't care who does the banner. All I know is that I can't do it. I'm not that talented. I wouldn't mind having Gaylen do one, or James, or whoever.

But I would like to see some Spongebob Squarepants images on there, and maybe some old 80's cartoons stuff.

Just don't put any Duran Duran pictures on there and I'll be ok.

I really love the work Lisa does. She was "contracted" to do a banner for AcrossTheStars.Net originally (hehe, remember that drama? ).

Just one question about the image titles...

What exactly are they/how are they picked? Do we say what we want on them and whammo! Done? Or is it something else? Because that would make or break my willingness to want to do the banner, too, because I may not have a lot of free time coming up in a few weeks.

Cool! I don't care who does it, really. GayLen would do as fine a job as any, so I'd endorse her.

I'd do it, but I'm more of a wallpaper person. I'm not advanced enough to make banners.

I would rather have someone in the forum make the banner. It would be more personalized that way, and could include a little item everyone could contribute.

I haven't done a banner, but I'm a decent graphic artist. I'd be willing to contribute whatever I could.

In conclusion:
outsiders = bad
fire = bad
chocolate unicorns = good

 

Do you have any previous works available? I'd like to see what you're capable of doing.

Well, I was specifically asking B'omie, but I guess it can apply to you as well.

EDIT: I lurk at OT. I've seen her picture of John Taylor.

 

The stuff I did previously was poster sized, and I don't have a scaled version of it or anything. Plus, it was propriatery for my college and for the project(s) I were on at the time, so they own them now. That said, it's been almost a year or two since I've done any compositions, so I'm pretty rusty. Hence, I'd probably need some help.

I'll see if I can dig out some old sample work later, but there's a good chance I won't.

 

I could probably give it a shot, but it probably won't turn out so well.

 

Don't even start with me on no Duran Duran. I'm old and, therefore, should be humoured (British spelling for Steve and Nidge).

I have some graphic arts experience, but prefer to work on photoshop at school. I only have paintshop here... so it'd probably be better to have someone else do it. I think Lisa is a good idea, because that way we wouldn't have an 'insider' who was biased interjecting their own extras into the banner

If we do get to each suggest something that represents us... oh baby...

 

What are the thoughts on this guys? If someone in the BB House wants to create a banner, great. I've seen Gay-Len's work and it's very good, so I know she'd do a great job.

I'm okay with it either way, I just think we need to get a move on since we're in week 2 already.

 

It's not looking good for me. I've got to work half of this weekend, then I'm out of town the next weekend (Memorial day, isn't it?). Sorry guys.

Maybe we could all submit a picture or something to Gay-Len, if she has time, and make a banner collage or something.

 

I'm up for doing it.

Hehe, sorry for not being around so much. But I can start work on one as of next Tuesday (maybe sooner..). Start tossing ideas, images and such around in this thread, y'all.
