Knightmare was great! i saw one ep where they won it

does anyone remember those phone games they had on weekend kids TV, you phone up and guide a thing around a maze?

what about Fun house??

 

those games were strange but i never had a touch tone so i couldn't enter, no i do, i wonder if they still do them?

 

ok not a TV show but does anyone remember a book called "Not now bernard"?

it was about a kid who wanted his parents attention and they said "not now bernard" and so he went out in the Garden and got eaton by a big green monster and the monster walked through the house and went "gnar gnar!!" and the parents went "Not now bernard!"

 

Yeah I remeber something like that-I seem to remember it been read out on TV once when I was ill off school a few years back

It was a really annoying woman reading it out - but then again it is a show which was aimed at pre school kids and I must've been about 16.

i just played the Bucky o hare theme out loud in my schools computer room, thankfully there are only a few people here so not too many wierd looks

While I was out the other night I heard a punk version of the Fraggle Rock theme tune. It was very cool so I did as the lyrics said and danced my cares away.

I turned on my telly this morning and was flicking through all the new cable channels that we have now and found that Knightmare is repeated on challenge TV . I didn't have enough time to watch it properly but I might try and catch it later if i remember.

I have watched it twice and can confirm it's greatness.

I think it could easily be brought back with updated graphics and things. Everyone is going mad over LOTR so children are bound to love it still.

There was a program on BBC called boot street band or something like that were all the kids secretly ran a business in their classroom and one of the teachers was a dog.

(I'm not making this up, honest!!!)

Also Stoppit & Tidyup, narrated by Terry Wogan. Classic characters including "Go To Bed" and "the big bad I SAID NO!!!"

Does anyone remember 'Rentaghost'. The woman in it was 'Audrey' from Coronation Street. There was a man (her husband), the witch, Dobbin the pantomime donkey, and Claypole the jester. I remember it being really ace, but its probably just turd now...
