Let us know if you attend the Midnight Screening, and how dedicated some of the fans there get... ie dressing up. The more "Queensland-wide" stuff here the better.

I used to come from the Toowoomba region, and I went to Grand Central cinemas for the Episode II midight showing and had a great time. But I just recently moved to Brisbane this year for University, so I will be going to Regent and hope to have even more fun since I am far more anticipating this film than I did Episode II.

Speaking if Cannes, *** is with Natalie Portman's 'do! I hope that's for a film role, and that shes not going for the butch-lesbian look! Although i have to admit it doesnt look terrible on her But she is prettier with long hair

Natalie is starring in 'V for Vendetta', a comic book movie that has required her to shave her head. Doesn't do much for me, visually, but good on her for having the guts to do it.

I agree - it's not her best look (although it doesn't look bad per se) but you have to admire her for having the (strictly metaphorical) balls to try it.

BigBossNass and I will be watching Episodes 1 & 2 (and maybe the Clone Wars shorts) before heading in. Seeing the previous two films immediately beforehand worked well with the Matrix marathon - that way you can really appreciate it as an overall story arc.

I agree... Having seen it now too, its kinda like even worse now that the greatest saga in history is over... Oh well... time to think about moving to sydney and getting a job as an extra on the tv series!
