Sam's Movie Review #3: Gangs of New York

So this movie's set in the Wild East of America in some place called New York where there's lots of mud and pigs and Irish people with big hats, oh, and Daniel Day Lewis who probably didn't even need to dress up for this role. Leonardo turns up after Qui-Gon dies and joins a gang to seek revenge or something. Then there's something about stealing pocket watches and stabbing pig carcasses, and Daniel Day Lewis figures out what Leonardo is up to and beats him around and stuff and burns his face off with a hot iron. I kinda stopped watching it after that so not sure what happened then.

this is my favorite daniel day lewis role. mostly because of how awesome his stache is.

 

I'm sure he is actually from the 19th century.

 

I didn 't watch it. somehow this review still doesn't make me wanna watch it.
