Vancouver Secret Star Wars

If you were a Star Wars fan in elementary school or high school, did you keep it a secret? Why so if you did and why not if you didn't?

 

Last year I went all out, and came out. It was a little scary. This year I'm open with it, but my friends ask of me not to bring up SW more than 3 times a week. So I hounor that.

But no, I'm completly open 'bout it.

 

Man, I must be more tired then I thought. Your responce was the funniest thing I've read in a while.

All my friends know I love Star Wars and sometimes those who don't know me well will ask a dumb question to try and trip me up.

"Dur, what kind of gun does Han Solo use? Dur hur hur."

"BlasTech DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol."

*silence*

"Are you serious?"

"Is this a kidding face?"

 

Yeah, I get the same stuff, but it's more my closer freinds trying to stump me.

 

Ive been a Major Star Wars Fan since 1986... (damn, i feel old now)

My siblings thought I was crazy back then and my parents thought it was a phase.. but now they know how much SW means to me.

My buddies in Elementary and High School knew that I was a SW GEEK... But instead of them getting annoyed at me, they always come to me whenever they have a question about star wars or anything that relates to it...

I was IN elementary school when ANH came out, so there was no shame in being a fan - as we know everyone was a fan when it came out. I think I saw it 3 times in the theatre - something that wasn't done back then.

Talk about feelin' old.

 

Well now I know all about lightsaber dueling. My friend bug me about that now.

I know like two forms and have all the planned attacks. They have a hard time defending and can never get an attack in. Except for the guy who has done fencing for like 10 years.

I prefer the term Star Wars Dork as appose to Star Trek Geek

Anyway, I've never hidden my love for SW, infact I've even gone to the length of being branded! Yes thats right, a Star Wars tattoo! On my left shoulder blade I have the Rebellion insignia inside that of the Empire, a design I took from the game Star Wars Galaxies.
