Ok, this Thread is to honor us 'old folks'.

Post up any cartoon, movie, fad that came from your era..

 

Ok, I'll start..

Movie: Krull

Cartoon: Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats!

Fad: Popping (Breakdancing)

Clothes: Don Johnson Blazers (with the shoulder pads, lol)

 

Movie: Highlander

Cartoon: GIJoe the Real American Hero! YO JOE!

Fad: Hackey Sack

Clothes: Store bought jeans with holes in them (the first time around!)

 

I'm not even out of high school yet but I figure I'll do this.

Movie: Pirates of the Carribean (There's the Prequels, too!)

Cartoon: SpongeBob SquarePants

Fad: Pokemon...yes, I have escaped the evil mindhold of those creatures.

Clothes: Those plaid shorts that preppy kids are wearing now.

 

How bout adding music..

Music/Bands: Sugar Hill Gang, Journey, Air Supply, Chicago, Run DMC

 

Music: Green Day, those dreadful boy bands like N*Sync (GL be praised for not putting them in AotC's nightclub scene as was rumored), CAKE (if anyone else here has ever heard of them you're one of the few outside of California), Good Charlotte, Simple Plan, Bowling for Soup, Fall Out Boy

 

I had to ask this after coming across a site that had breakdancing coming back!!! Apparently it is big in Europe & coming back to the US in hybrid Hip Hop Dancing!

Maybe I should dust off my pumas!
