Sixth Meeting (Two year anniversary?)

All you have to do is go in, go up the first stairs, find Subway (it's pretty obvious) and find the tables right across from Subway. They're on a cool little raised platform

 

Liz, if you go in the side with the fountain, just go straight, look left, and you can't miss it.

And we could probably have the meeting at 2:30 if you don't want to wait that long.

How busy is the Union on Saturdays? And how noisy does it get?

Those factors will be part of my decision to come or not.

The fountain is on the side directly opposite of the side of the building facing R street. And the fountain is huge, you can't miss it.

I don't see why we can't just meet at the front of the building on the NON FOUNTAIN side.

Since we don't know who might come to our meeting, we really should meet at one place instead of getting together somewhere and then leaving.

The Union isn't too busy on Saturdays... at least not as busy as it is on weekdays. Anyway, if we meet at around two then the lunch crowd would have mostly cleared out. It's normally not that loud around that time.

It's certainly not any noisier than the foodcourt at Gateway.

 

Oh yeah, that's a good point. I will definitely be quieter.

Might have to reschedule. Next saturday is the annual Red-White scrimmage football game. Downtown will be a MADHOUSE.

Just to warn you.

 

I don't think it'll be a problem - the scrimmage isn't nearly as hectic as a real game, and none of us are looking for parking anyway. Let's go ahead and keep it

I'm really excited that I'm going to be able to see everyone again tomorrow!

 

There's a 75% chance that I won't be at the meeting. There's a movie I want to see and the only time I can see it is either 1:15 or 3:15. I'm probably going to see the 3:15 showing and I wouldn't wnat to have to rush out of the meeting and to the theatre.

I just decided this at the last moment (sort of). If it were at any other theatre, I could have gone some other time during the week (possibly earlier than 5:00 p.m.), but it only has matinee showings earlier than 5:00 on the weekends and I can't go this sunday or next sunday.
