Post what you thought about the concert tonight?

I really enjoyed it, it was well cut together as far as the footage went.
I enjoyed trooping before the show, non stop pictures.
Always a pleasure to toop for Star Wars fans.

 

As I was riding today I remembered one of the coolest things last night during the Costume portion of the event.

Their was a kid in a wheel chair, he was a bit slow. I enjoyed letting him get a picture with me as a stormtrooper.
I did a hands up pose (he was a jedi) as they took the picture.
He hit me with his lightsaber a few times. I think two of his brothers where in the picture too!

Things went fast, as soon as one person was done with pictures another was ready to go.

I even had a pretty good line for pictures.

There was even a guy who recognized me from the WAVY news.

Had a blast until my armor started falling off. Guess I trooped too much that weekend (Is that possible?).

It was really good to see you all again. Thanks for trooping and showing the populace that SW is alive and well in the HR area.

The concert was FANTASTIC. It was so cool to see the orchestra and feel the music being created at that time just for us. The film clips were spot on and the narration by Anthony Daniels was emphatic.

If anyone missed this concert, the best way to get the "feel" of it is to purchase the Revenge of the Sith OST that has the Video disc (DVD) and play it. You will see basically the same thing and have "the Emperor" narrating instead.

for sure it was nice seeing everyone.

 

My daughter, Lily, and I watched that musical DVD the other nite. She clapped her hands during the "Imperial March" sequence.
