Waco, TX SW on DVD

They're saying Sept. 21. I'm excited, except that they also say that it's just going to be the Special Editions. I'm okay with that, I guess, but I'm a sucker for the originals.

If I had my druthers, I'd pick the SE with some changes. First, Greedo never shoots. He just dies. I would like to see more of the Biggs footage. I really liked the ESB version, and wouldn't change anything there. As for ROTJ, I'd just change the music. Actually I'd keep the scene exactly the same as the original. Or at least keep the SE, but change the music. I didn't care for it. Taking the focus away from Max Rebo just isn't cool.

The reason George did the SE's is because he didn't like how they turned out in the first place and also to restore what was left to the film.

If you remember when they were talking about restoring ANH they said that the film was detearating (sp?) so I am up for the Special Editions on DVD...I know that Han shot first and stuff like that. At least they are coming out on freakin DVD
