Tidewater, VA TA MEETING NOTES JAN 8TH 2012

GALACTICON:2012 MARCH 31 Virginia Beach Central Library.

Need Volounteers for set up to be at the library around 7:45a.m approx. More to come once we get a time.

I have sent out invites to all our vender friends, artist and fan groups

Have confirmation on

S.Wickam= Artist booth. 2 tables.
Ghostbusters are returning one table
Game Stop is also returning one table


We will have a table for HRR in the main hall across from us, I will be getting in touch with Regal as well, and Tracy from USS Batliff too about another demo.


Dawn is working on a new vender who may want to come out.


We have some pannel ideas

Theon: Zombie makeup.

This was an idea before that Barry and Malice could do a pannel on.

Let me know what you guys think

I was thinking on doing a pannel on Star Wars Costuming
Both Sith/Jedi and the Empire/Republic.

Anyone that wants to jump in and do a pannel is welcome please let us know.


Since we don't have a treasurey anymore, promotionals for Galacticon will need to be donations.
It usually cost about 55.00 for the posters so if everyone chips in a little it would be nice.

We still need volunteers: for Table releif, I will set up a schedule for the table sitting that way everyone gets to enjoy the con.

Audio visual
morning set-up and tear down

vender assistance: getting the venders water and things they need from..them what they need when they can't leave their tables. And taking their orders for lunch ect.
