    Very good my apprentice.

I think were gonna need a GM to wave off this stand still. Were trying to engage and the jedi are staying on the defense. Helinith still needs to post hopefully things will change after that.

Yeah, I'm just making dinner for myself and then I'll be writing my post :)

I was thinking somthing for us all to consider together more would be the relationships between our characters and how they see each other.
For example, I've always seen Helinith and Lilith as having a loose friendship of sorts although that could be just a complete misconception on Helinith's part. Helinith is way too friendly for a sith, after all.

EDIT: doesn't help that the only Jedi responding is JM. But kudos to him for trying to keep us all occupied.

A loose friendship would sound right. I made Lilith like a Mara Jade Sith type. Very direct but loyal. She would work well with Helinith.

Yeah i'm glad JM is responding now hopefully others will too.

Nothing personal Lexis [face_laugh] I think Helinith is about as frustrated about the whole thing as you.

I'll think of a reply later to change tactics. I just might have an idea.

    Poor Lexis[face_laugh] *pats Lexis head*

No need for that, I am used to being ridiculed, have been my whole life, remember. :p

On the other hand keep in mind that Lexis has spent the better part of his recent life alone on his mobile library reading books and tomes. He has no social graces nor formal training until now, so he will have moments of speaking out or turn.

Post is up and it's the only thing i can think of that will get them moving. It's almost suicidal:p.......But i'm thinking the Jedi Defense has to move or else no one can do anything.

    Biography:

He was born under the worse storm that his planet had known and delivered by an unknown medic that was called by his parents. Soon after, his parents left the planet Korriban to live on Ruusan, miles of the caves of the Lost 100. Making a meager life for them but surviving all the same. ?There is history here my son? , his father always told him, and every time he had asked his dad why they lived in such a desolate place. Though he learned to live with the bouncers and the sparse people that lived on such a planet, he still grew strong and lean. His parents taught him the basics of sith knowledge and how to make his own blade. Forged through strength and knowledge, he with his parents endowed it with powers that seem sentient in ways. Day and night they pounded information about the sith and what stories they knew of the Great ones, like Darth Bane, Darth Raven, Darth Sidouis to name a few. But he wanted to learn more about his history, for it seemed his parents kept a lot about his great, great, great grandfather?s history from him after he snuck into his parents library and found one of his Holocrons and scrolls that were passed down.

The hard laborious chores built him into a lean and powerful person and soon sneaking out into the night to learn the martial arts that the old man he knew from a work group he was in. On his day of testing from the old man, did he not go. As he was sneaking out, his parents, caught him leaving the house. That fateful day, he killed his parents and taking the Holocrons of Darth Cadaverous and a few other choice scrolls, did he leave in their shuttle, he left the destroyed house and his dead parents, behind.

At the age of 19, he found work with a mercenary group, flying the shuttle with either stolen goods, troops or running contra band, earning credits to purchase a priceless Sith Fighter like his uncle Jake that flew for a mercenary group for the Republic. Years before purchasing the old fighter, he came across a crashed *(Tie Hunter)* in the jungles of Dagobah
delivering food stores and extra troops. After getting permission from his commanding officer to haul it aboard, he went to work fixing and repairing the fighter craft during his off hours and between flights.

It was hard work to finding the manuals to repair the simplest repairs to paying for new remade parts to replace the un-repairable pieces and parts. Once in a while he had to hire specialists to work and show him how things actually went and or additions to make it even better than before. Months before turning 24 years of age, it was completed and after many test flights and target practices, he and the commanders agreed that is was fit to fly into battles, in which he did often till he left the unit he was in.

Then at the age of 24, he left the mercenaries to travel to Korriban to learn more about his powers and the force, and

    No thats perfect.
It gives Mal a reason to get really concerned for Helinith's safety and mad with himself for not going out with her.

Alright, For that you get 5 more Dark Side points.
But to see if you can join the Shadow War RPG. I think we will first have to see if it also gets approval by Sinre, or who ever is still in charge...

As for task 3. I will have to plan this out... but standbye and keep an eye out..

I was going to post today, but I sent a question in PM to Jedi_Master and I'm waiting for a response.

Posts shall hopefully be coming tomorrow or Wednesday. Might not be tomorrow because I have a late lecture, but I'll do my best.

I think we're doing pretty good at keeping on top of everything so far.

I may well slow down over the next week or so as I start getting coursework, but I'll try to keep delays to a minium. It may well be that in April I'll have to go offline to get my dissertation and coursework finished, but we'll see what happens. Hopefully it won't come to that.

Replace the word 'Korriban' with 'New Korriban' and the sheet is approved, my friend.

    *the former Dark Lord smiles*

I see we are eager to proceed. And indeed I am. Did you want me to wait to post before you Helinith, as you have PM'd JM?

Will you just be updating us with status of shields and such and what damage we're doing?

FYI- Facebook told me (through the JCF page) that IGN is preping to export our data. As such, do you want me to take a back up of this thread? I have Xani's tool already on my laptop and I'm about to use it for backing up my fanfiction thread.

Please. Could you also grab the whole Shadow War thread and the Dominion one?

And... teach me how to do it so I can save the entire SWC, EUC and ToR if need.

    *chuckles*

*salutes* Will do. I'll try to back them up a couple of times so I have the most recent posts before we move.

As for the program, it's really so easy. But saving the whole SWC will be a huge file and may well take a long time.
You need to download the file and extract it. Then in the folder you extracted it to, you run "JC_Backup.exe". It'll open and you'll be promted for your username and password (you don't have to log on, but if you do the posts per page will be higher).
Then it'll give you some blank fields with "Forum" and "Thread". You just put the url of the forum/thread in the relevant field and it'll do the rest ^-^
The backups are put in the folder "backup" in the folder the program is in. They're sorted into folders by board.

    EDIT:
Saving this thread took me 5 minutes on my connection, so for >100 pages thats pretty speedy.

Ye gods. And I thought my parents 8 year old xp desktop was old. Well, kudos for keeping it going so long. My parents old thing took 10 minutes to get from log on to userdesktop at the end of its life.

Post should be coming in a jiffy. I've got Mal's bit, just trying to write Helinith. It's difficult without having much to go by from the jedi side. I don't want to end up accidenly godmoding or auto-hiting anything.

Alright, further to the various information that you may, or may not, have read, I have created a sticky with the most up-to-date information about the Move, as in, for those not in the know, the time-scales for our migration from one server (IGN) to the next.

Please do read this, and keep an eye out for further updates. I shall be updating the opening post periodically (I'll note when).

    Happy Reading!
