Welcome to the Apples to Apples Game!

Apples to Apples is a card game with a very strange twist that makes it a great party game, that has now been adapted for the JC.

At the beginning of each game I will pm everyone their first set of seven red apple cards. These cards are all nouns or noun phrases such as Canada or The Spanish Inquisition.

Every round one player will serve as the current judge.

I will post a green apple card which are all adjectives such as this: Mean (malicious, ill-tempered, petty) and the players who aren?t judging will send their card choice to me via pm.

The players who aren?t judging the current round need to pick a red apple card that they think fits the meaning.

So you could choose to be a serious player by sending a practical card like: Adolf Hitler, or you can play something ridiculous like Hangnails. It?s all up to the judge?s discretion.

One more thing to remember. Please make sure to send me your card within 24 hours so that we can move this game along. The judge also has to post their choice card in the thread within 24 hours.

As the game goes along you can start to learn which players are more serious, and who would go for something silly or practical. There is some strategy here, and if you want to gain points, you want to be able to read the judge.

I will then post the red apple cards so that they will be completely anonymous. The current judge will then pick their favorite, and whoever had that particular card gets a point.

After each round I will send out additional cards so everyone always has seven red apple cards to choose from.

The first player to six points wins the game and 24 hours as a VIP with colors!

Because of the fact this game could get quite lengthy, I'm keeping signups small.

Something I've noticed about this game every time I've played it is that nobody picks cards for the same reasons. I have one friend who always picks her favorite due to the quotes...the crazier the better.

 

Batman & Robin - Superheroes or vigilantes, you make the call.
