Not quite lads, I am doing Biology (dead easy but much work to be had), Chemistry (ARGHHHHHH!!!!! KILL ME NOW!!), Mathematical Methods (do the work , get the grades), English (Duh...) and at the behest of my English teacher who wishes me to remain 'cultured' despite my science course, I am doing Literature. (that exam looks kriffing scary..)

So I hope i can pull off a miracle, but who knows..

*takes the proffered slab and begins to work slowly through, subbing each can.*

Hawk, you doing Specialist? I was going to give it a go, but didn't wan't to do 6 subjects so I couldn't fit it in. Get's scaled pretty good though, you manage a 40 and it becomes like 51.

Gawd. I can't believe it's been 10 years since I sat my VCE/HSC.

We were the first test-guinea pigs to do VCE English and Maths too (all the other subjects were HSC). And what a JOY that experience was. Not only doing the Common Assessment Tasks and Exams that determine your entire life, but doing it when no-one, especially not the teachers, has the blindest clue what's going on. Ahhh, those were the days.

From now on call me Mama Zyp. I feel that bloody old now

 

Heh...we don't have CATs anymore, we have SACs, or School Assessed Coursework. Basically that means we do most of the work at school instead of having nervous breakdowns over that 2000-word media analysis for English, we have nervous breakdowns over that 1000-word media analysis for English we only have 1.5 hours to complete in school because we can't take them home. Though I do like this a little better, I've never done well when I've been given too much time to think.

Literature you say, PoT? I've heard that's somewhat of a difficult subject, not really my cup of tea. Specialist will probably kill me (if the teacher doesn't, the work will) but at least it means I'm nearly guaranteed a good mark in Methods.

 

I'm just hoping i don't get any F's on my Report and when i say F's i dont mean the teacher Swearing or anything just the grade

 

Anyway on an eittirely different matter, I'm a very bad speller. and ITS MY B'DAY, in 15 days, ANYWAY I'M (dare i say it) EXICED!

 

Lit is a killer, considered one of the hardest exams of ANY subject.

Yr 12 is a killer! But at least DarkJediTJ is excited!!

 

Someone else getting excited is always something to get excited about. I just found out my year 12 formal will be at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Even though it's not until august/september, I'm excited already! Now all I need is a date...
