Star Wars The Blades

I would first like to point out that this is an A/U squadron type RP

It is the hight of the Galactic Civil War, and a new X-Wing squadron is being formed by veteran commander Berethore Janson. He is looking for only the best pilots to fly with him in the battle with the empire, pilots willing to fly impossible missions and attempt to wrestle the position of top squadron the current best, the famous "Rogue Squadron". This unit will be given the hardest missions against battle tried and tested opponents who have weathered the worst the Alliance has to offer. Many of you will die, but you will die knowing you have made the galaxy safer from the Empire.

Biography
---Personal History: Born on Coruscant in 25 BBY too wealthy Alderaanians he was brought up in the peaceful and accepting ways of his parents. Attending an academy on the planet he was exposed to specism, something that he had never believed to be possible, and was so outraged at it he got into fights with and student he saw discriminating due to species, sex, or any other reason. In the end he was called into the head masters office and after talking with the parents it was decided that Berethore would take his rage out in simulated space battles between him and the other students in the schools recreation room. So every time he saw injustice he challenged the person to a dogfight, and always won. It was in these simulators that Berethore found his passion, flying. By the time he had graduated he was at the top of his class and held the school record for recreational dogfighting.

Two months after he graduated his parents were visiting relatives on Alderaan when the Death Star vaporized it. He had been watching the injustice of the Empire for nineteen years and now it had killed his parents and a planet full of people. He left his job and Coruscant and joined the Rebellion?s fighter core on Yavin.

---Military History: He was assigned to Red Squadron for the breakout of Yavin and successfully defeated three ties while guarding a shuttle with communication codes and a general. Later at Traslia he killed four more taking his kills up to seven and catapulting him to ace status. At Hoth he was assigned to sword Squadron and went out with the second transport, him and his wingman took out a squadron of bombers and their escorts, but at the cost of his wingman?s life. That hit Berethore hard and he never forgot that event, and from that point onwards he did everything he could to stop those under him from getting shot down. By the time the fleet assembled to attack the second death star Berethore had thirty-five kills to his name and was placed in charge of colony squadron. During the battle he shot down thirty ties, twenty bombers, and fifteen interceptors. He didn?t lose a single man until they were ordered to attack the star destroyers. He lost half his men to the first ISD, and fighters picked off the rest. Berethore was the only survivor of his squadron and had a kill amount of one hundred fighters; Wedge Antilles was the only man to beat him with three hundred and fifty-six. Admiral Ackbar has now given him permission to form a new elite squadron called Blade Squadron.

---Traumatic Experiences: The los of his parents hurt him deeply and he has never recovered totally and still has periods when he is overwhelmed by emotion. The loss of his first wingmate was a devastating loss to him and forced him to look at his own mortality and the mortality of those around him.

---Other Details: Outer hull is near mirror like, which gives it a very unique ability to distort the space around it, giving it a near stealth ability, it can still be picked up by standard sensors, but visual detection is difficult.
Biography
---Personal History: Gavin was born in the Galactic Core on the world Corellia, he was raised by his sometimes overprotective parents. When the Empire began to grow more powerful and threatening he and his parents moved to the Outer Rim, where Palpatine's power was still limited, just as it always had been, no one, not even the Empire could crush the power of the Hutts. After this they became drifters, going to any world that would take them and keep them from being handed over to the Empire. His father had been a skilled pilot during the Clone Wars and eventually taught him everything, his mother had worked as an information broker during the conflict working closely with Republic Intelligence to figure out what the Separatists were up to.

When the war ended his folks had already begun to question Palpatine's policies, but within the first few years that Gavin had begun to train under his father they had decided things were too dangerous to stay within reach of the Emperor. Gavin excelled in his training and became a very good pilot, rivaling some of the best Imperial trained soldiers out there, he had very good reflexes and excellent control and was a crack shot with a blaster cannon. His mother also taught him how to read a situation before taking action, finding the best course of action, usually the simplest to execute and the most effective. He has basically been turned into a powerhouse think tank that enjoys working out and tinkering with things to simplify and improve them. He built his own fighter at the age of 18 and has been using it since, it proving to be a very terrifying to confront, only if you're an Imperial vessel that is.

He joined up with the Rebellion after a retreating knot of fighters entered his area pursued by another Imperial squadron, after demonstrating his abilities by ripping their squad apart the Rebel forces asked him to join.

Biography.
---Personal History: Death of dad and rest of family by an imperial assassination on a trip to Corascant has left him scarred as the only survivor.
Dad was a wealthy Mandorian trader and part time revelutionary at the start of the War. His Mother, a politician, loving peace. They were two opposites under the same roof. Sieg was the first born and hier to the family wealth. He has two siblings, twins, one boy and one girl. All are dead. Been a mercenary for a couple of years under Jabba the Hutt. Catching wind of a revelution he soon tried to find and join the rebelion, leaving Jabba a price on his head for leaving his allegiance.
