I think I may be sick but nothing major. The only sign currently is sensitive soreness around my one eye. Prayers really do help! So now I'll be going to my parents' later today and enjoying time with family. Thanks guys for the well wishes. I really appreciate it!

I'm here for a second. Then I'm going back to sleep...unusually tired for whatever reason

 

I'm tired.
But I'm always tired, and its past nine, so too sunny for me to go back to bed.

It's supposed to snow a little today and a little on Wednesday. I suppose I'm okay with that although I had really wanted more snow.

 

100% chance of snow last I checked. But only about an inch of accumulation.

 

You lucky ducks. I've got 75F weather today and tomorrow, with thunderstorms all night tonight and all day tomorrow. *grumbles* Stupid soggy presents....

 

An inch is perfect. Covers things nicely and doesn't harm driving conditions too much.

Joe no worries. There are a lot of people who would love the weather by you! How goes it?

 

38 and raining here, warming up to the low 40's with more rain later,sunny for Christmas tomorrow, more chilly rain on the 26th.

Addie you are such a cool mom. My cousins and friends got to stay up and open presents Christmas at midnight. My parents never let us stay up past 10 pm (22:00), my whole life.

 

So my Dad just said he could pick me up so I don't have to lug all this stuff on the bus!! *happy dance* Yay!

My parents only let us stay up past like 2200 if we were going to church at midnight, and by the time we got home we were too tired to open presents anyway... I wish my mom had been awesome like you Addie!

 

The only thing we were allowed to open at midnight would be stockings. Family tradition is that you decide together if you want breakfast or presents first and that's when you open them, after everyone gets up. Until then you can feel free to go at your stockings whenever you want, as long as it's the 25th.

 

Oh, work. How you amuse me. *sigh* At least I'm that much closer to being done for the holiday.

 

What's happening at work for you?

 

Baby Daddy Drama. "Hey, this patient has a restraining order against the baby daddy, but he's got a court order giving him permission to "bond" with the baby. Can you come babysit him and his family so that he doesn't go near the mother?" The guy and his family were nothing but polite and friendly, only took an hour with the kid, and then left.

Really, guys? "Hey, we've got some nice polite cooperative visitors up here, can you come sit outside the room like they're baby stealing criminals?" Ugh. Sometimes I hate the way the parental rights are assigned to unwed couples in Texas.

 

That's super lame. Sorry to hear that.

Well, I have to get going to get ready. 90 minutes and counting til I leave!
