Wash, DC The Galactic Senate's NEW Website!

That's right folks. We've been putting the Elves through forced labor to... err... I mean WE'VE been hard at work to deliver to you our new website:

Right now it's a little bit like Disneyland when it first opened. It's up & running, and there's some cool stuff, but a lot of it's still under construction. But what we have right now is still pretty fun, and we should have the most of it ready to go by the time this quarter's out.

Our home page is up and running, as is our links page (it's a pretty cool links page), and our own independent message boards are in full swing as well. To visit those, click on our "message board" link on the site.

You will need Flash Player 7 or higher to view site. If you've visited the official SW site in the last year, then you should already have this, otherwise go to http://www.macromedia.com/downloads and click on Macromedia Flash player in the "Download Free Players" section near the top.

Anyway, enjoy what we have for you now, and look for new stuff in the upcoming weeks!

P.S. And no, this is not an April Fool's joke...

...or is it?

Awesome intro! And definitely the most descriptive and accurate events calendar I've ever seen!

Hey I noticed Party Master Yoda is missing.

Don't tell me everyone forgot all about him.


He's crying in my closet now clutching a bottle of vodak and cursing me out for not taking him to Far Point. It's not pretty.

 

I tired putting him in the opening, but it just wouldn't take. Probably some bit of workings that I haven't figured out, yet. We'll find a place for him, somewhere.

 

Bring him to Balticon...we'll let him know we remember him!

If you want anything from the old one, let me know. I know there wasn't much there, but it's from the wee beginnings of the GS. There's history there! Heh heh.

 

Well, we kinda already stole the bar pics from there....

But thanks for "giving" us the pictures

...retroactively.

 

The GS website looks very cool so far! Great work!


The only thing missing is the special "Bruce Section" which should include all the hundreds of thousands of pictures of me dressed in my various Luke Skywalker costumes as well as my bio, a listing of all my upcoming performances, etc.

But I'm sure that'll all come in time as you are just getting started.


Just don't make everyone wait too long!

Okay, the Stockroom is now up and running. It only has one thing in it, but at least it's up.

hey, uh, when I went to the "stockroom," it looked like it was the "about" page. And it only said "coming soon."

 

Keep hitting the refresh button. It might just be directing you to the temporary internet file.

I'll check it out again, tonight. I tested it out online before and it worked fine. I might've assigned the wrong shockwave file to it or something.

 

Well, it seems to be running fine, now. It might be your temp files are pulling that up. Does anyone else have that problem?

Well, I redid the page from scratch and retweaked the shockwave file. Maybe that'll help. I had another friend take a look and she got the right page (and yes, she uses windows). I think it might be draging from the cashe. Could be wrong, though. Steph? Any thoughts?

 

Um, I get the stockroom. The only thing I can suggest is deleting your temporary internet files if you're still having problems. The only problem I noticed is that the main page said to select from the right menu, but the menu's on the left ;P

 

No, that's correct. The left menu is the main menu and to the right of that is the page's menu...

Okay, yeah, that is a bit confusing...
