What the frig is a motorboard?!

I say, people have come up with some really dumb technical names for simple things.

 

A motorboard, or morterboard I think, is the grad hat.

Yeah, we get to keep ours. I picked up my hat and gown and all that stuff today!

 

Yes, morterboard = technical name for the hat

7pm.

But Derek and I will be there mostly all day. I think we should be arriving in by 1.

I've got rehearsals at 3, but I want to wander around a bit...maybe go see my best friend, Jen.

 

Sweet deal! If everything works out like it's supposed to, then I'll probably be there!

i graduated from XD, although i didn't get a degree from it.

Xtreme Discipleship...it's a one year program at Bethany...you can choose to take it one semester, though, which is what Jon did...

 

Grad rehearsals. Walk, sit, stand, sing. And we need five of these because...

I tried to nap, but I don't really want to. When I nap, I can't sleep that night.

 

Never was a problem for me. I went to bed one night, only to wake up to the sound of Ben's voice: "Get up! Aren't you coming to supper?"

Then I went to bed again that night - slept like a baby.

 

I may put on a movie and try to fall asleep on our futton. I've let me sister use the computer in my bedroom though.

 

Yeah, the computer's in my room at our house too. My brother sometimes uses it after I'm in bed, but I don't mind.

 

We currently have three computers in my house. The one I'm using right now is my mother's work computer and it's the only one connected to the internet. It's in our living room. About five feet away is the computer I received as a graduation present. The one in my room is older and unstable, but it has all our games on it. A while ago, the games computer was were my computer is and I had a seven year old computer in my room, but that one spontaneously combusted.

 

LOL! Sounds like how my room used to be. We had our main computer, my dad's work computer 5 feet away, and a 1981 IBM PC right beside it. My mom threw out the IBM while I was in Yarmouth. I would've given it to my friend who collects old computers.
