then you clearly haven't been hearing the right manics stuff if you think they aren't rock! a popular misconception, people hear if you tolerate this then your children will be next and think it's all like that, but they're wrong! get hold of some of their earlier stuff and you WILL like it!

Ok, I'll do that Stuey :) You are right, I think of the Manics as being smooth type pop/rock without much "umph". What would you recommend album wise?

That Qui-Gon is funny, but I think I prefer the Palps - there's something about Palps in a Xmas hat.

Gotta go to a damn presentation of awards tonight -I'm trying to think what I can do while on stage collecting mine.
I've thought about falling off and I had a dream last night were I hired a double to go on stage while I hung from the ceiling Quasimodo style .......note to self must lay off the chocolate cake and barbecue crisps before bed.

Hmm, guess it's too late to plan anything involving abseiling down from the roof, killing a few people in the crowd and stealing your award instead of waiting for some person to actually give it to you.

I'm sure I can come up with a way of making that possible........
I've had over a month to plan this and now as usual I've left it till the last minute.

Same can be said for my Xmas shopping, sigh

From experience I know that award ceremonies need as much action as possible - the crowd tend to lose enthusiasm pretty quickly.

If all else fails, you can always rely on the shock factor of the traditional moony ;) Old fashioned, but still very effective.

I don't know there are some pretty fragile people in the crowd -the sight of my hairy backside might be enough to send them into a coma!

You could have an Ambulance ready and waiting lol

At my graduation ceremony I had so many plans, one of which was to do a rude V and stick my tongue out at the crowd. Didn't come to be of course - I practically ran on, cursed the guy for taking forever to shake my hand and then ran off.

Could try to mimic a WWE wrestling entrance, music and all-it would need carefully setting up though....

Sounds good :) I trust you have saved up plenty of bribe money for the stage crew? You might even get an award for the best entrance.

south park is actually getting better as they run out of ideas. they're resorting to ridiculous plots, parodies of real world event and politics and it rocks! much in the wya the simpsons now does but still much more rude.
