Can please somebody remaind me the name of the fic where Kyp was remembering how he won 100 credits on Kam Solusar by ranning around the Jedi Academy naked and announsing that his breakfast tried to eat him or something like that. It was very amusing...

Ha! Found it!

He sighed, flipping onto his stomach. ?You know what Kyp? I think you?re losing your mind over this girl. I mean, you?re already talking to yourself. That?s a bad sign you know. Next you?ll be running through the corridors with no pants and your underwear on your head trying to convince everyone that the cook?s surprise is trying to eat you.? He blinked. ?Okay, maybe I did that back at the temple, but it was Kirana Ti?s cooking, and it really did eat you from the inside out. Besides, Kam dared me to do it, and I did get 100 credits for it.

Hi all! : )

Given the atmosphere of the boards, the K/J Index and the J/J Index got together and devised a way to help us learn to enjoy each other?s stories and writings. So here?s what we did?

The K/J Index randomly selected a line of dialogue for Kyp, plus five words. The J/J Index did the same. What we?re left with is some opening lines of dialogue and ten words necessary for inclusion in your entry.

My entry! you say.

Of course! We are calling all parties - K/Jer, J/Jers, Z/Jers, L/Mers, A/Pers, Ihatemushers ? to brave our insane design and come up with a story that makes us laugh. Here?s the parameters of the first ever Kyp/Jag Challenge

(And no cries foul on interspecies or slash ? it?s neither Just a buddy story along the lines of say? Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Dude Where?s My Car or Lethal Weapon. And we encourage using this opportunity to get know each other and their work
)

Here?s your rules?

1. 3000 words max.
2. No other characters are to be used except Jag and Kyp.
3. Thou shall not use the word Jaina
4. You will use the opening dialogue given below, plus use all ten words. Points will be deducted for not using words, with more weight given to each infraction
5. Otherwise, you?re free to use your imagination.

The challenge will run until May 31st, 2005. A thread will be opened by the K/J Index Sock in which you shall place your submission.

Scores will be determined as follows:

1. Technical skill
2. Artistic quality
3. Adherence to conditions
4. Characterisation
5. Overall

Each category will count for 10 points for a total score of 50 points. The entry with the highest average score will be the winner.

And here?s the fun part?

PM'ed a couple of story submissions for the index. Am considering volunteering to be a sort of reviewer...? There are so many fics I haven't read, that at some point when I go through and read them all, I may as well review... But I don't know when I'll get to them.

Quite a few stories on the list now. Are they still being written? It seems like there aren't as many K/Jers around as there once were.

 

I'm here... and TRYING to work on stuff.... but... I'm a nitpicker at my stories.

Quite a few people have signed up on KAJSU, but yeah the K/J atmosphere has been quiet lately. Maybe everyone's moving and/or gearing up for school?
